Prioritize high health items / belts to unlock Volibear. When approaching PvE rounds (Stage 2-7, 3-7), aim to unlock Kennen and Kobuko with cheap Bruisers, Yordles, Ionia, etc. Lissandra will hold items until you get to Ryze. Can also drop Shen for Sett late game.
Open early Leblanc/Sion or strong AP item holders like Ahri Ionia. Sunfire on Sion is nice for stacking for Volibear unlock, but Morello is much stronger on Ryze later.
Add more cheap Bruisers or Invokers. Start holding units to unlock Kennen. Hold Yordles, Defenders, and Ionia on the bench to unlock Kennen and Kobuko at end of Stage 3.
If you're high HP, you will likely sac Stage 4 to get to level 9. Unlock Volibear and stabilize around 4 Bruiser + Lissandra. Unlock Ryze on PvE.
