Try to hold onto 1 Akali and 1 Aatrox when pushing so you have access to free Shred/Sunder. Graves build: Assault frame -> Buckshot -> Buckshot+ -> Buckshot++ -> Laser Ballistics. If you have bad Graves items, go tank build or ditch Graves entirely for another upgraded 5 cost / Morgana.
The most important aspect of Fast 9 is to win streak early. Slam items aggressively for Graves / Vex. Save 1 Akali and 1 Aatrox if possible.
If you snap win streak early Stage 3 without a big econ augment, abandon Fast 9 and pivot. Early Graves Stage 3 is worth investing in.
You should be healthy (80+ HP) otherwise abandon Fast 9. It's okay to lose all Stage 4 and econ heavily with ideally 3 Timebreaker in. Use end of Stage 4 to transition.
