Only play on Path of Transcendent. Relevant Ixtal cashouts: 80 shards = 1 Lesser Dupe. 200 shards = 2 Lesser Dupes. 500 Cashout is often bait unless super far ahead. Drop bard once you hit the 7 core units unless you're really healthy.
Stage 2
Play around early Ionia resource generation or Ixtal. Activate relevant class traits when possible (Arcanist, Invoker) but make sure frontline is good.
Stage 3
If you have pairs of crucial units, consider rolling a bit on level 6 to stabilize. You will make some gold back anyways so don't be too overly greedy.
Stage 4
Level to 7 and slow roll for Ahri 3, Milio 3, and frontline. Kennen 3 is easiest to hit, but you can also play for Taric 2 / Wukong 2 / Skarner as needed.
