Unlock Galio from a Demacia AP opener then transition to level 9 Ryze + Volibear. Prioritize Ryze items > Tank items > Volibear / Lissandra items. Can also tank Wukong. Comp needs lots of items and econ to succeed so only play in high resource environment.
Ideally play from early Demacia winstreak start so you can hold onto units for Galio unlock. Can also play from Ionia Ahri and slam AP items.
Keep your winstreak going via more Demacia, Piltover, or Ionia (if playing around Ahri). Finish your carry items / tank items before working on Volibear items.
If playing Demacia start, look to fast 8 and unlock Galio. You can also play around Freljord core and unlock Volibear while collecting Demacia on the bench. Go 9 once stable to cap.
