Unlock Leblanc as soon as you can by itemizing Sion. Shown board is the base, but you can replace many units outside of Mel + Swain + Darius + Sylas + Shyv . Board caps with Azir and Ryze on 9.
Stage 2
Play around early AP items around LeBlanc as the item holder for Mel. Flex around Bruisers, Invokers, and Noxus.
Stage 3
Maintain winstreak around LeBlanc / AP opener. Have Ambessa die with an item ASAP. Then you can unlock Mel on level 8.
Stage 4+
You will need to roll on 8 most games to stabilize before getting to 9. Focus on upgraded 4 cost frontline. Position Mel directly across enemy carries.
